Medical Ambulance Bus (MAB) Training

The purpose of this course is to introduce the Medical Ambulance Bus (MAB) to Ambulance Strike Team Members that may be involved with its operations. The course will consist of a classroom component to familiarize students with the MAB layout and use. The second part of the course will be hands on training to further the students knowledge of MAB setup and operations. All students will need to wear appropriate work wear and PPE for loading and unloading of the MAB. There will be times of heavy lifting and moving of MAB components and simulated patient placements. Basic PPE will include, but not be limited to: Work Gloves and safety toe shoes/boots. The AST Responder course is recommended, but not mandatory.
